As per his routine of several days, Baba came down the hill later in the morning. He called the mandali to meet with him and explained about the 3 types of God-realized beings.
Later, after Chagan answered some of his questions in a vague manner, ‘Baba fell at his feet and told him that hereafter you don’t do any work; just eat, drink, and loll about the place.’ Like Vishnu the day before, Chagan was dumbfounded at first, but then became hysterical. Unlike Vishnu however, Chagan was determined to run away from Meherabad, and paid no attention to calls for him to return. After several of the mandali failed to catch up with him and bring him back, Baba dispatched Rustom on horseback to fetch him.
That Thursday at tea, ‘Shri beautifully explained the external signs of a Sadguru’s internal working;’ the right side representing the spiritual, and the left the worldly.
Before proceeding up the hill that evening, Baba paused and gave some very interesting explanations via chalk and slate regarding the planes, their heavens, and the ones who experience them.
At a meeting the next day, (due to the addition of a dozen boys to the school), the problem of milk shortage had to be solved. Thus ended the mandali’s short period of enjoying milk in their tea.

When the caretakers and trustees of the shrine of a perfect one (Bapusaheb of Ahmednagar) came to Meherabad, Baba gave them 50 rupees for their fund to commemorate the anniversary of his passing. All this prompted more interesting explanations concerning the nature of these perfect ones and our great fortune in having the opportunity of their presence.
