AMBPPCT RECEIVES FCRA Registration Approval

By the grace of Avatar Meher Baba, we are happy to share the good news that the Avatar Meher Baba Perpetual Public Charitable Trust (AMBPPCT) FCRA registration with the Home Ministry under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) has been approved. After four years and three months of patient waiting and perseverance, the Trust has finally crossed this important milestone. As required by law, this registration must be renewed every five years. With this approval, the AMBPPCT can once again receive contributions from Baba lovers worldwide.
This welcome development, however, does not mean that the restrictions on Lower Meherabad and its immediate surroundings have yet been lifted. In the months ahead, the Trust will continue its efforts to ease the limited access currently in place for non-Indian nationals visiting Lower Meherabad.
We trust that, in Beloved Baba’s time, the remaining restrictions will also be removed, for as Meher Baba has said, “Meherabad will become the greatest place of pilgrimage in the world, where seekers of Truth from all over the world will come, and people will find solace here.” Your continued understanding and loving cooperation in observing the current restrictions will greatly support the Trust’s ongoing efforts to remove them.

INFORMATION FOR FOREIGN DONATIONS
The below information is required to send your donation to the AMBPPC Trust via an international Swift/Wire transfer (also known as “electronic funds transfer”), which is usually the fastest and most efficient method to send funds to the Trust from abroad. You can initiate an international Swift/Wire transfer at your bank.
Please email the donation details to the Chairman at chairman@ambppct.org and donation@ambppct.org providing the following information:
- Full Name and Address of the donor,
- Date and amount of the donation,
- Specify the purpose of the donation for the Corpus Fund or General Donation.
Donations may be sent by bank draft; however, this method is NOT RECOMMENDED. It can take one to two months for a draft to clear and for the funds to be credited to the Trust. In addition, the clearing charges are approximately above Rs. 2,000 per instrument, and a photo ID of the donor is required. The process is therefore both time-consuming and costly.
If a donation is nevertheless made by bank draft, it should be sent to the attention of chairman@ambppct.org and donation@ambppct.org.
